Pruning

We can offer a wide range of pruning options for your trees (or palms):

Crown thinning/restoration:
We can remove crossing/problematic branches and selectively thin a canopy of a tree to increase light to a property or open up a view. When done correctly this will allow the tree to still look natural whilst letting a lot of sunlight through.

Dead-wooding:
We can remove any dead/ diseased or dangerous branches from a tree for health and safety and aesthetic reasons.

Canopy lifting:
We can arrange to lift up the canopy of a tree to allow better access underneath whether for vehicles or members of the public.

Crown reduction:
We can reduce the crown of a tree to allow more light through, prune away from a property or manage the decline of an old tree. With this option however we would recommend the crown is re-reduced every 2-3 years for safety reasons.

Dead frond removal (palms):
We can arrange to remove dead fronds/seed pods from any type of palm tree. This will keep the palms looking tidy and also stop them dropping dead fronds/seeds all over your garden. We can also shape up the lower canopy of phoenix palms to make them look much more attractive.
